RPD stuff must be really popular....

Because I got more hits this week since I posted the video of my somewhat-finished RPD than I have ever gotten in any week.
Thanks to SayUncle and TheFirearmBlog for redirecting folks here. If this is your first visit, take a look around at some of the other gun projects I have, or just leave a comment.

Guess I need to get moving on that HiPoint drum and my Bren MK1 soon.....

    1. Well, as a result of the election and the potential for a crackdown on hi-caps, I'm not a riot; I'm desperate. :)

    2. Hence the reason I made a point of telling everyone to start buying drums.
I'm working on it. I started machining a lower press die the other day so I can press out magazines. The mags have to be perfect, since we are working with very little room in outer dimensions and inner, plus everything has to line up just right, or otherwise the rifle jams.
This is why so many people complain about the 995 being a POS, because of faulty magazines.

  4. We, my cousin and I, are waiting to hear about your magazines. ;-) We can't wait! We're what some call, "preppers." Hopefully we never have a need for high capacity shooting. Just like a condom though, I'd rather have it and not need it, than not have it and need it.

    2. Totally understandable, here in Australia semi-autos are pretty much illegal basically only available to farmers/primary producers, I really hope the U.S dosnt follow suit,.. keep up the good work

    3. I don't see that happening here.
ARs and AKs have been flying off the shelf for the last few years, with a few intermittent slow periods.

Most of the stuff I've built lately isn't what I'd call "unique", or "blog-able", I have really just been building a lot of AR/AK/HK stuff.
I've got a few projects in the works that I'd like to share in the future, because they are low-buck (inexpensive) and somewhat unusual.
Cheers, mate, and thanks for reading.
